Growing up we had a 4 foot above ground pool that we spent A LOT of our time in. It was great because it gave us a reason to hang out with friends and relax outside without the horror of the heat. The opening of that pool signified summer was here. (well that and the first time of the season that I heard Wills Smith’s Summertime on the radio). I have so many fond memories from those days.
